‘Whoever Wields This Hammer, If He Be Worthy, Shall Possess The Power Of Thor.’

Caught the midnight opening of Thor. It was awesome, as Marvel origin movies usually are (EX. Wolverine). It was dope because it featured young and wreckless Thor who’s immaturity and lack of reason ultimately get him banished from his home of Asgard. It’s a side of Thor you’re not accustomed to seeing since he later flourishes into one of the more mature Marvel heroes…
The visuals were pleasing and the maturation process of young Thor leads to great character development. The dialougue was great and authentic. There was always fear that they’d water down Thor’s mannor of speech, which is one of my favorite parts about him cause he’s always in Shakespeare mode lol.

“Thor” Trailer
Kinda slept on this trailer as a Marvel fan. Natalie Portman is truly everywhere. I love Thor, but it’s something about the Thor origin that doesn’t absolutely stoke me. The Avengers hype just overshadows everything for me. With all these movies releasing, I’m just hoping the screenplays do the Marvel Universe justice.

ASSEMBLE!!! The stars of The Avengers movie [releasing in 2012] took over the stage at Comic-Con in San Diego. First up, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011. Mark Ruffalo seems more like a Bruce Banner, but damn, Ed Norton will be missed.
