City and Colour - “Weightless” Music Video
“So what is this now, you ask of me;
What makes your pain such an urgency?
Now I want out, so plain to see;
Once again my dear, a brand new tragedy.” -
City and Colour - “Fragile Bird”
Dallas is back. Here’s the first single off his forthcoming album, Little Hell. This time around he adds an array of instruments to his arsenal—extensively exceeding his signature acoustic sound. This track kind of has a Black Keys kinda funk to it. I’m all for growth and change so I can’t wait fo hear more of the album, which drops June 7th, 2011.

Shad & Dallas, “Two Songs”

“Live Forever”
“Listen (Remix)”
This is heaven for your ears. If you’re not Canadian chances are you’ve never heard of Shad or Dallas Green. The world sleeps on good music trapped in Canada. Shad is one of the dopest rappers I’ve ever heard and Dallas is one of the most amazing musicians with one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard.
It’s true that real recognizes real because they both decided to hop into the studio and concieve two tracks of dopeness. Before the tracks actually dropped Dallas spoke about the collaboration saying, “I’ve always wanted to be the Mary J. Blige to somebody’s Method Man.” If that’s not raw, I don’t know what is.

City and Colour - “Hometown Glory” (Adele Cover)
Dopeness everywhere. Dallas covers the amazing Adele during a show in London. Also, on Twitter he humbly tells the Twitter world he wants to get it to Adele for a possible future collaboration.

Alexisonfire - “This Could Be Anywhere in the World”
Funny that this is one of my favourite songs and prob the only screamo song I’ll listen to. This I can take in; the rest, not so much.

City and Colour, Interview and “Body In a Box” on Last Call with Carson Daly
Dallas was on Last Call on Tuesday night. He did a quick interview and performed ‘Body in a Box’ off of Bring Me Your Love. American television debut? Talk about sleeping.

Tegan and Sara - “Back In Your Head”
So yeah this Dallas concert coming up has me taking in some more of this particular band. I think they’re pretty dope! This is one of my favourites that I’ve taken in. The song is pretty deep and the video is great. So yeah, I’m sold on going to the concert…
I wanna go but a) I need the funds. Molsen Amphitheatre is a step up from Massey Hall venue last year when I wanted to go, but it should be worth it. b) I need people to go with. But yeah they’re being sold to everyone today sooooo I’m slacking.
