‘Nothing Is Set In Stone; Not Even Darkness’…
So the finale of Dexter Season 5 was a few days ago. Julia Stiles was the major guest star for the season and played a survivor of a horrific murder attempt. Her acting was a little suspect to me in the beginning; but in the later episodes, she definitely stepped it up and delivered the on-going development of the character pretty well.
Honestly, it was very very odd seeing Dexter Morgan so affectionate and lovely dovey with someone. Lumen’s departure was so abrupt. Once she killed Jordan Chase her dark passenger disappeared as quickly as it came; and Dexter’s heart dropped just as fast. In an instant he realized that he is a rare breed and how improbable it is to find someone as damaged and permanently dark as himself.

Emmys 2010: 'Glee, 'Mad Men' lead the nominations
Nominations for the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards were announced today for the telecast airing live Aug. 29 on NBC. Five of the 12 nominated drama and comedies are first-timers and newcomers make up a major portion of the performing categories. Here are the big categories:
Any win for Dexter, The Office and Breaking Bad is a win for me. And Coco for The Tonight Show would be a big eff you to NBC. Sucks that there’s no Joel McHale or Community love, since he read out the nominees. He must feel so used, lol.
