Last night, after a game 6 victory in Miami, the Dallas Mavericks were crowned 2011 NBA Champions after a phenomenal playoff run. Personally, I really didn’t favor any team. I was a little relieved The Big 3: Cop-Out Edition didn’t work, but ultimatey I really had no emotional stakes invested this year. I am happy Dirk and JKidd got their rings though and stayed off the best-who-never-won-it list with Chuck, ‘Nique, Stockton, Malone and them.
Jet Terry was unreal this game and just the hungriest player ont he floor. You don’t ink the Larry O-Brien Trophy on your arm and not throw down everything to get one. Bron and Wade were non-existent when the time came for them to show up and take over.
Dirk Nowitzki on the other hand struggled in the first half and shook it off in the 2nd to show why he is one of the all-time greats. Now that he has a ring tied to his name, it’s easy for people to see how great and unique of a player he is. His skillset as a 7-footer is insane and he can always find ways to score and hit timely shots. A true MVP.

Dwayne Wade and LeBron James named NBA Eastern Conference Player(s) of the Month. — The Heat dominated the league in the month of December going 15-1. Both players played to their potential as if they were still on separate teams; James (25.2 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 6.8 apg) and Wade (27.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 4.1 apg).
No lie, I like watching them prosper. I like when great players play great. No bandwagon. D-Wade is still the man no matter the stats. Wade will always be Batman, ‘Bron will always be Robin..Bosh can be..the bat signal? lol. ‘Cause in this trio he will always just be a shadow. Ouch.

The Return of LeBron James
This was a little excessive; but dope nonetheless. It was TNT’s introduction for the Miami Heat @ Cleveland Cavaliers game. In the intro, they symbolically emphasize the cultural impact made by LBJ when he relocated to another city.

As for the game. The crowd was fierce and intense—too bad the Cavs didn’t reciprocate these emotions. They died out and ironically..quit. I didn’t like the fact they were joking around with LBJ during timeouts =/. It’s like shaking the hand that’s slapping you; pretty damn degrading..

I hate to say it, but this whole Free Agency ordeal is causing me to lose a bit of respect for Chris Bosh; especially after Friday’s welcome party. I know everyone’s gitty in Miami, but CB4 is extra I-dont-care-if-I-look-like-a-jackass good. You need to take it down a bit, sir.
Know that the other two are probably just as excited as you. They are just more composed and humble about it. You’re like a boastful child who just got the fastest bike in your neighbourhood for Christmas. Take in a bit of humble pie. #bitterRaptorfan
