Kendrick Lamar - “Cartoon and Cereal” [Feat. Gunplay]

Another dope concept delivered through a raw and innovative flow — This song is about Kendrick gaining peace through his recent success in music. A peace that was never felt since the days of watching cartoons and eating cereal as a kid. There was too much struggle and animosity around him while growing up to maintain any kind of bliss.

Kendrick Lamar - “Buried Alive (Interlude)”
Here is K-Dot’s contribution to Take Care liberated from Marvin’s Room. A captivating verse about falling to the allure of the rap industry.

Kendrick Lamar - “Rigamortis” Music Video
Instantly one of my fave tracks from Section.80, that 3rd verse just had me. Don’t ask for your favorite rapper. He dead.

Foster the People - “Pumped Up Kicks” (DJ Reflex Remix) [Feat. Kendrick Lamar]

This kinda works for me. K Dot all day. Better run, better run, outrun my gun.

Kendrick Lamar - “A.D.H.D.” Music Video
Def one of my fave tracks from Section.80. The video is directed by Vashtie and inspired by ‘apathetic youth’. Got a high tolerance when your age don’t exist.

Kendrick Lamar - “Ronald Reagan Era (His Evils)” [Feat. RZA]

Off of #Section80. Gottdamn this song is fire, dope production and flow always on-point. Wish there was more RZA vocals—just adds such a dope dynamic. Woopty Woop.

Kendrick Lamar - “HiiiPower”
The visuals for Kendrick’s first track off of Section 80. Very dope and expressive video for such an empowering song. The cherry on top is Simba doing nasty things on the boards.
