Emmys 2010: 'Glee, 'Mad Men' lead the nominations
Nominations for the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards were announced today for the telecast airing live Aug. 29 on NBC. Five of the 12 nominated drama and comedies are first-timers and newcomers make up a major portion of the performing categories. Here are the big categories:
Any win for Dexter, The Office and Breaking Bad is a win for me. And Coco for The Tonight Show would be a big eff you to NBC. Sucks that there’s no Joel McHale or Community love, since he read out the nominees. He must feel so used, lol.

Stars Joel McHale (Community) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) will join Television Academy chairman/CEO John Shaffner on Thursday, July 8 for 5:30 a.m. ceremony, live from Goldensom Theatre in Los Angeles.
“I’m so honored to be announcing the nominees for the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmys. It’s been such an exciting year for television, and I’m happy to be a part of it,” said Sofia Vergara. Added Joel McHale, “I have two children, and I’ve never woken up this early for anything.”Leader of the lovable misfits and speak-her-mind Colombian wife.
