Complex Exclusive: We Found Earl Sweatshirt
Fans yell for Earl tracks to be played, and the Wolf Gang wilds out like the man legally known as Thebe Kgositsile is right next to them. But he’s not, and locating the talented (alleged) 17-year-old is a task no one has been able to accomplish. Until now… (Read More)
Apparently Complex found Earl? lol. He was already allegedly in boarding school, which is constantly denied by OF members as they wanted to keep the real whereabouts secret ‘for personal reasons’. Tyler was quick to deny the investigative report on Twitter, but the article sounds legit…
I think they just want to keep it a secret to maintain hype—but it’s hard to keep things private when the world is so honed in to what you’re doing. Anywaysss, all I know is we need more Earl Sweatshirt music, the kid is a wizard. Free Earl—wherever he is.

“Odd Future Gets Signed”
There’s some indecent people out there, Tyler knows. The Wolf Gang get together with the good people of FOD and poke fun at their edgy-idgaf image. (Gimme a late pass on this)

Nardwuar Interviews Tyler the Creator and Hodgy Beats of OFWGKTA
Nardwuar gets with the Wolf Gang at SXSW for a very funny interview. Are you with the feds? Tyler comes across pretty genuinely messed up in the interview, while Hodgy seems like he’s trying a bit harder to carry the image.
Been bangin Tyler and Odd Future recently. Only a few other buzzing artists out there really hit a cord with me, but I’ll only bump mixtapes for so long. The ones that do get opportunities to drop albums kinda disappoint me lyrically..
Odd Future actually have talent from what I listen to i.e. Hodgy, Earl and Tyler. They’re lyrics are extremely twisted, but they’re staying true to their brand of hip hop..
Their delivery is on-point for being so young. The content is out there but that’s just what they wanna talk about. They call on the demons in their head and express it through music—nothing wrong with using music as an outlet..
So I rate them, especially Tyler who also produces some dope beats and seems like a genuine dude. Some members that seem gimmicky and uneducated kinda erk me though but it is what it is. Free Earl.
