“Stephen Curry: Encouragement Promo”
Some Raptors representation as young Steph shoots around with his father, former Raptor sharp-shooter, Dell Curry at the ACC. These series of commercials are indeed, amazing. (Prev: Steve Nash)

REBUILDING THE RAPTORS ISN'T PRETTY, BUT NECESSARY
Raptor fans, this is what you asked for. This is what true rebuilding looks like in the NBA. So please, stop complaining.
For years I’ve heard you beg for a teardown. For years you’ve asked the organization to stop trying to lipstick on a dying frog. No more acquiring a broken-down Hakeem Olajuwon, no more trading for an over-the-hill Jalen Rose, no more investing in Jermaine O’Neal and Hedo Turkoglu – take it all apart and start from the beginning.
Well kids, this is what that looks like… (Read more)
Have a read if you’re a Raps fan.

via gotemcoach:
It’s the 5th Anniversary of perhaps the most impressive offensive performance in basketball history, Kobe Bryant’s 81 points.
There are a number of unanswered questions, when it comes to the big 81-point game, such as:
- How did only one Raptor foul out (Alfred Bosh)? Shouldn’t every guard have at least 6 fouls, if not more, in trying to stop Kobe?
- How did Smush Parker score 13 points in this game? Better question: How did Kobe allow Smush to take 11 shots?
- When did Kobe agree to sit? Must have been the first half. Kobe played 42 minutes. Lamar played 43.
A tribute to Kobe’s 81 is not complete without a shot of Kwame Brown doing what he does best (wearing shorts), seen above.
So the Raps are actually solidified in the history books as being part of something important to professional basketball. Unfortunately, it’s for being Kobe’s pylons for the night.

The Summer Slam Dunk Off: Amir Johnson, DeMar DeRozan & Sonny Weems

Dwayne Wade & Chris Bosh Interview with ESPN
This afternoon D-Wade and CB4 talked with ESPN to confirm their respective decsions for this Free Agency season. This leaves the Raps in young gun mode. Hope they can do something positive with their young core and potential leader, Andrea Bargnani.
Tomorrow, LeBron James will captivate basketball fans everywhere and announce his own decision; during his ESPN Special at 9pm ET. Some say stay? Some say join the ‘03-ers in Miami? Maybe Chicago? Personally, I’m thinking New York Knicks with Amare Stoudamire. We’ll see tomorrow night.

Not looking good for the Raps =(. After Tyson Chandler went down with an injury, Larry Brown put in the bench. The Bobcats are playing for nothing, while the Bulls are playing for their lives. The Raps are doing their part and winning at the half, but the Bulls look hungryyyyy. RALLEY RALLEY! Hope Charlolette’s bench has it in them. Bulls lead big at the half. Ouch.

Still watching. C’monnn Bobcats. CHI @ CHA 7-point game at the end of 1st Quarter.
