“Drew League vs. Goodman League” Player Highlights

Player highlights from the Drew vs Goodman exhibition game. GL ended up getting a one-point W on the backs of KD and John Wall. The losing DL squad was led by LA natives Brandon Jennings, James Harden and my dude DeMar DeRozan.

Last night, after a game 6 victory in Miami, the Dallas Mavericks were crowned 2011 NBA Champions after a phenomenal playoff run. Personally, I really didn’t favor any team. I was a little relieved The Big 3: Cop-Out Edition didn’t work, but ultimatey I really had no emotional stakes invested this year. I am happy Dirk and JKidd got their rings though and stayed off the best-who-never-won-it list with Chuck, ‘Nique, Stockton, Malone and them.
Jet Terry was unreal this game and just the hungriest player ont he floor. You don’t ink the Larry O-Brien Trophy on your arm and not throw down everything to get one. Bron and Wade were non-existent when the time came for them to show up and take over.
Dirk Nowitzki on the other hand struggled in the first half and shook it off in the 2nd to show why he is one of the all-time greats. Now that he has a ring tied to his name, it’s easy for people to see how great and unique of a player he is. His skillset as a 7-footer is insane and he can always find ways to score and hit timely shots. A true MVP.

The UCONN Huskies beat the Butler Bulldogs to win this years NCAA Championship. Last time they won it was in 2004 on the back of Emeka Okafor. The game was pretty whack as both teams struggled on offense throughout the game. The team was led throughout the tourney by stellar performances by 2011 Bob Cousy Award winner, Kemba Walker.

Michigan's Fab Five in their own words

Juwan Howard. Jimmy King. Ray Jackson. Chris Webber. Jalen Rose.

There is little debate in the college basketball world that those five players, who joined the Michigan Wolverines as freshmen in the fall of 1991, represent the greatest class ever recruited.

Perhaps the most misunderstood, too. (Read More)

    Dwayne Wade Throws a 90-foot Alley-Oop Lay-Up

This doesn’t even make sense. To even attempt to throw a pass that far ahead of the runner is some risky business. Had to have happened before in practice. Right?
